Auto SEO, the quickest SEO plugin around.

Today my second WordPress plugin went live, Auto SEO. Auto SEO is the fastest way to tag an entire site for SEO around. Designed with geo-located searching in mind (but working well for non geo-located ones) Auto SEO can give every page a different title, description, and keywords.

The interface is all done on one simple page, fill in the regions, and some other keywords you want along with a description and it will do the rest, no additional thought required.

Auto SEO was designed for speed. When you have a large site, or are making multiple smaller micros-sites, going through each page and SEOing are, at least in my experience, by far the longest part of the process. Faced with 160+ sites I was asked to create something a little faster. After some testing, which received some favorable results, the plugin was used across the entire development team and, after some final tweaking, brought onto the WordPress plugin repository.

You can find Auto SEO from your WordPress plugin section or, directly here: Auto SEO.

If you have an feedback, bugs or improvement ideas let me know (via the email on the plugin, my direct email, the plugin trackers, this google+ post) and I’ll see what can be done about them.

  1. My page crashes at same time I installed this plugin…
    any idea of it?

    Appears the message:

    “Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I disable your plugin, and everything comes back to the normal work.

    Thanks,
    Kind regards.

    1. I’d like to try and figure this problem out, it’s happened once before but they changed their plans before I could get all the information I needed to work on a fix.

First question, are you using the newest version of both auto-seo and wordpress?
Second question, what theme are you using (as it’s the most likely cause)?
